Elma wants to know, is it really just a joke when Lin talks about cooking Tatsu?
"So... Lin doesn't really want to eat Tatsu, right?" Elma asks one day. "It's just a joke?"
"Indeed," Kentaro nods, quirking a brow. "Is there a reason you ask, Elma?"
"It's just..." Elma bites her lower lip as she thinks of how to word this, head tilting ever-so-slightly to the side. "She brings it up so much and it's really not all that funny."
"She's thirteen," Kentaro says. "Kids that young tend to run things into the ground."
"I see..." Elma muses. "You humans are an interesting species, I'll give you that much."
"I'll take that as a compliment," Kentaro says. "If it wasn't, it would be quite cringe of you, after all."
She gives him a look. "Never say that again."
