Hero

"Tell me, my prince," Minoth says one day as he scribbles another note. "Do you see yourself as the dazzling hero of this story you're in?"

Addam looks at him and pouts, playing it up for the playwright while letting his feelings be known. "You and I both know I'm far from a hero."

"But are you truly?" Minoth taps his chin with his pen, looking towards Milton and Mythra. "Some may disagree with your take on it."

"Milton, maybe," Addam replies. "But Mythra's seen just how much of a goof I really am. As you had, or at least I thought you had!"

"Oh, I have," Minoth grins. "All the more reason to tease you, don't you think?"

"Too cruel, Minoth!"

Minoth chuckles as Addam faux-faints against him. "I don't hear you complaining, my prince."

Addam peeks at him with one eye, the other closed. "And here I thought my acting was getting better.'

"Keep at it, maybe one day."
