Dance Together in the Wind

"Adam, be gentle with your footsteps," said Minoth. He held onto the prince in white with a soft grip. The Mexican cowboy didn't know how, but somehow what was supposed to be a calm evening turned into a bit of a chaotic teaching lesson. The Tornan Prince wanted to learn how to dance. As a result, the Blade Eater was going to spend however long was needed to teach him.
"I'm sorry," replied Adam. "I've got the pattern you showed me memorized but my body doesn't want to cooperate."
"I can tell. You've stepped on my feet five times."
"Sorry..."
"It's alright. Here, take my hands."
Minoth reached out to the man. Soon, the fingers on Adam's right hand intertwined with Minoth's. The Blade Eater then pulled him closer. He took the time to place his free hand on Adam's back after.
In contrast, Minoth's black glove stood out against the white part of Adam's armor. Back at their hands though, the black color of the gloves the two wore blended together well. Pressed together, the black part of Adam's front armor rubbed against the black and gold of Minoth's armor.
As a result of being so close together, a small pink blush spread across Adam's caucasian skin. He was close enough to kiss the man in front of him. He did lean forward a bit, but back off when static electricity zapped him back to reality. However, Minoth didn't let him stay away for long. The Blade Eater tightened his grip and pulled Adam back toward him. Minoth's darker, browner skin pressed against Adam's lighter, whiter skin while the two embraced each other. The two's lips were pressed together for a solid minute before they separated. When they finished kissing, Adam's blush had lessened some.
"Please, my Prince...don't run away."
"I-I wasn't. Just, being this close to you does things...to me...emotionally."
"Me too. But it'll help you learn better."
"Really?"
"Honestly, I don't know. Let's just try."
"Alright. I trust you, Minoth."
Step by step, the two began to move. Adam's right foot went between Minoth's while his feet
spread out some. Since they were taking it slower, Adam had the chance to keep his left foot from
clumsily pressing down onto Minoth so harshly. Instead, he softly pressed it beside Minoth's left
foot. The prince's right foot side stepped lightly and landed next to Minoth's right foot. As they
kept up this pattern, their upper bodies began to follow suit with their feet.
"That's it! Just keep up this pace and you'll have completed your first dance."
"...Our first dance."
"..."
"Our first dance together, under the shining sun with the wind blowing around us."
Leaning in, Adam kissed Minoth again. They kept weaving together during this second embrace.
It was as if time had now stopped.Only they existed for a brief second in time. Or at least that's
what Adam wanted to believe. A second later when they were on the ground, time reminded him it still moved.
"Adam, I'm sorry!"
"Don't be. It was my fault."
"Are you hurt?"
"Nope. I'm happy."
Before Minoth could respond, Adam reached his hands up to the Blade Eater's face. He pulled him down closer to his body to kiss more. The thought they would be caught crossed Minoth's mind but Adam was too powerful. He didn't even want to resist being embraced, so he merely went along and wrapped his arms around the man.
"The lesson isn't over," said Minoth, in between kisses when they breathed for air.
"Good."
"So..."
"Mmm."
"Stop kissing..."
"Minooooth."
The Blade Eater snickered. He pressed a kiss to Adam's neck to cause him to shiver. Then hopped up, reaching his hand out a second later to pull Adam up. The two posed together again and went back to their slow stepping pattern. Sooner rather than later, Minoth had Adam dancing around the patch of grass near his mansion. Close, together, and in love on a fine summer day.
