Everyone knows Light Blades are rare. The holy Aegis is the only one known to living memory.

After the Aegis War, the Praetorium preaches despair.  "The Aegis has disappeared," they tell the world.  "We must find her."

Most have never seen her, but everyone has heard of her power.  She is a Light-element Blade and so people stream into the Praetorium with cores that shimmer even while dormant, hoping to claim a generous reward.

Amalthus surveys the collection.  Such power!  What a tragedy it would be, to fall into evildoers' hands.

Crack, crack, crack.  One by one, all destroyed.

The Praetorium preaches of the Aegis, the only Light Blade to ever exist, a gift from the Architect.
