The Bird We Wished Love To
To the prince of the city of architecture beyond our understanding, whose white towers and overarching protective railings encircle all..
Do you wish to ever fly beyond these walls? Are you shackled like a bird to its cage or are you happy in it? Have you even considered the world beyond?
The flowers here are beautiful from the golden Mystic Dahlias so lovingly tended to by the devoted staff to the Stardrops whose violet blooms stun and sparkle like the shorting stars that sprint into dazzling rainfalls showering over the city.
Don't you wish to be struck by that warmth just once? A prince whose teal gaze like zircon reflect so much more than the rainbows of these starfalls is what I see.
Long white-headwings as strong and supportive as the walls that keep the city safe - has anyone wished you love for what you are whether you were meant to be anything or not?
I would love you more than misty roses
But I know it would be a love not meant to last; a prince dedicated to his kingdom, his family, his sister meant to succeed the throne.. even still what can we do but try and value these halcyon days where the children of the city play in the streets? Even if we may be trapped by our regrets and our fears like a bird cage; these bars will not last forever..
I would wish you more than just your health and more than shelter to keep you safe from the storm and a cozy fire to keep you warm
But what can you do for a prince whose fate is set into stone? The fate of the High Entia has already been predicted by your predecessors..
But yet most of all in the cold snowfalls upon this mountain where the chills have frozen lesser prepared Homs have frozen - I wish you to not be a blue bird.
What can we say to raise the dead?
Knowing this - we all have our paths to walk.
I'm sorry I had to leave Alcamoth but it's for the best
Goodnight my sweet prince..
May your lemonade be forever sweet instead of the sour that stings your tongue and scrunches your wings.
