Metal Air
Laughably, the sound of metal keeps Mumkhar up tonight.
Mumkhar still finds himself writhing over a bad dream of what his life once was. As the mechanical whirring of his new lungs remind him that he is part Homs, a Homs who lost it all to the metal that makes him, he swallows the air instead of inhaling it.
The sound of his own breath betrays him as he faces the life he'd forgotten. Such lovely memories.
His body, an ironic fate, makes him face its wrath. May he face it for all eternity, for he would never turn back. This wrath is his weapon. He loves this body.
