"Mehhhh," countered the rotund Nopon merchant. "Candy bestest quality, with bonus of refreshing goo when eating." He squeezed the roly-poly gum drop and a burst of juice shot out.

"All true, but we find the shape disturbing." L held one of the candies by its detailed wingarm. It wiggled and smiled up at him.

"Very cute shape, just like cutest littlepon."

"A little too like the littles. Are Noponfolk not struggling to distinguish themselves as friends, not food?"
