Travis's responsibilities are fairly cut and dry. Back up the boss when she needs it (and get her to back up when that's prudent, too), mind the store when snuff (hey, it's a good word!) goes awry, and just generally be the man at base who's not too standout, but not useless either.
Masha, he hates to admit, confounds him. He's not even sure she gets a kick out of it, after all the time he's spent trying to figure her out - she's just free-fancied like that.
Her heart's solid in the right place, though. House head's a rough gig.
