when you're out walking in the streets with your mainline connection
Lelouch is hard to keep up with.
Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Suzaku doesn't mind the distance, the spining length of his strides.
Despite his station level, Lelouch is not, ideologically, a slow, regal prince.
Suzaku himself?
He gets by. He's always learned to match pace - or not, as the situation dictates.
At first he'd thought Lelouch would have wanted him to stick down to his own speed. Now, he thinks he really will get left behind if he lags.
So he doesn't. He walks, jogs, runs, and even after all of his measurements, Lelouch is interminable and undeterminable.
A challenge?
