They were an uncomfortable peace offering from Addam, a spectacle to be snickered at from Milton, a strange display of incomprehensible bonding and grounding from Jin and Lora, and something that just...never really seemed to mean much of anything, from Haze.

She'd watch the people of Alrest hug each other close after a near-miss attack from Malos, and feel...alienated. Only more unsafe, herself.
