He has to be careful - quite careful. It's really rather surprising, the way his mind has latched on to all the easy and intuitive ways to show affection to Minoth (and be somehow flatly puzzled by all the reverse of the same), completely forgetful of all his various trainings in restraint, whether passed down from the royal rites or naturally earned by being somewhat of an outcast from any true friends or family.
He can't act too quickly, yet he can't fall behind. There can be no room left for hesitation nor doubt, as he wants Minoth for his own.
