Aegaeon's attempt at an equivocating statement, musing on delineations of democracy vis-à-vis government appointment versus individual merit, was summarily covered by Jin's vaguely assentive grunt. Minoth paused for a moment to gather dropped thoughts and jawline before rounding up the "conversation" again.

"I guess democracy goes for those less enthusiastic, too."

Minoth bit his tongue, rather than gape further on topic of the play he'd been planning to write about the day's knighting.
