Before they can say a thing, Minoth has bolted out the door, hands on his holsters. There's a trail of ether behind him.
"You didn't need to tell him that. I think he would have been happier not knowing."

Addam stops himself before he can say that Minoth's never happy, that he catches shearing moments of peace by the tips of his boots, if those, and slips back all over again, all the time.
"He's got to do what's important to him. He doesn't like not knowing."
