Rhyme

Time alone, watching the flow.

i think i might try just casting out my line
i think i might try to get lucky, just once
i think i might hang my hopes out to dry
i think i might lie in the sun

there's nothing wrong with taking some time
to stand on the bank and watch your boots dry
there's nothing the matter with getting a little sadder
when nothing bites but the truth

i brought myself a tuna sandwich
to remember what it is i'm searching for
i brought myself a radio bandwidth
just in case, so i don't feel truly alone

i stuck on my stringer a little tune to sing - er
that is
i'm just humming, myself

i brought a small boat
i think it should float
and if not, then
i'll be all wet

but there's nothing wrong with taking a trip
to see what's out there ready to drip

there's nothing wrong with fishing, my dear
(there's nothing wrong with you)
