The loop is still firmly embedded in Melia's mind: between her own summoning and discharging of elementals, Fiora breaks, Reyn topples, then one of them dazes. Spear Break into Starlight Kick is a last-ditch jump into the fray for their beloved squishy mage.
Something's...off, though. Fiora seems at least half again farther from Melia as she downs the Fogbeast (Antol), and she's at least half again quicker with her attacks.
Then out comes Lacerate - and oh, there's the second knife.
Fiora grins, cheeks splattered with hemolymph. For a moment, Melia's not sure she does want her closer.
