Visions of the Emerald Beyond
Today, this fine Wednesday, I worried endlessly about dates and the impossible task of preserving the human mind. But everything is alright, after all.
"But what about...what about Kallian?"
Maybe Shulk is just attempting to buy time with questions that will give Alvis pause of the kind that occurs when a machine must churn, just a little while, to return to you what you've asked of it.
Or maybe, the more he thinks about it, he really is desperately interested to know if those who have gone to unjust fates can be returned, in a new world.
"Kallian lives on within me, Shulk."
One of the few people who had touched Alvis in a way so profound as Shulk had (impossible though that was, really).
Shulk felt, then, a profound love for Kallian, who had protected so many, who had died so soon.
"Sure thing, Alvis."
