And though I know you couldn't care, you oughta...

"Listen...'just loves his job,' you said?"

Sena frowned, shrunk in on herself a tad - she hadn't expected a confrontation with the Kevesi girl away from the rest of the group so soon. She'd figured they were all a little too jumpy about the whole joining-forces thing to be getting into that just yet. She certainly was, anyway.

"Sorry, I know I shouldn't assume. You guys probably know Noah way better than Mimi or I ever will. I wasn't trying to-"

"Trying to what?"

Her eyes had been averted, uncharacteristically focused anew on the peripheral view of her dangling ponytail (she'd noticed that this girl's wings perked up just like Mimi's ears did, and just like her flames pulsed a little when she was nervous). When she looked back, she saw Eunie had one hand on hip and one turned palm-up, questioning, instead of both elbows akimbo or both arms crossed altogether.

Despite the harsh tone, Sena realized that Eunie really did mean her no ill will. She was just...shaken.

And what would she call it?

Assuming, or...defending? She hadn't really ever been much of a hand at that. The way Mimi did it was...

And hey, why were they even talking about Mio OR Noah, anyway?

"How did it make you feel?"

"How'd what make me feel?" Now Eunie's cadence was starting to edge up annoyance. It was a rare thing, to find true patience.

"Seeing the Consul die. Seeing that they were...old."

Aaaaand...there were the crossed arms. "I dunno. Don't think it matters, much. People die all the time."

"So...if it's airheaded not to think about it, and it's silly TO think about it..."

"Tch. I've got better things to do with my time."

Sena fixed the other girl with the sharpest gaze she could muster. "Do you?"

Harsh, but no ill will. A real question. One she wanted lots of time to answer.
