There's something solid forming in the air
"Spock?"
"Jim."
"Where is the universe?"
"An illogical question." Spock responded with all the fervor he'd been keeping back, until recently. "The universe is the largest observable unit of space, spanning all time and all other forms of object. We cannot conceive of a space into which the universe might be placed. There is no answer."
Jim smiled. Just the phrase he'd been thinking of.
"I thought maybe V'ger might have told you - some superhuman knowledge we'd never be able to attain except through it."
"It did not," Spock said sharply.
"Well, I might have liked your personal answer, too."
