This feeling of grogginess...decidedly new. Usually a lack of ether intake meant that Machina simply couldn't rise, with their electrolysis functions thus inhibited. But this...an almost human feeling.

Egil definitely disliked it. He had no way of estimating his surroundings, no way of knowing for sure if he'd be able to rise at all, or within what time frame. He hated such inconvenience.

And what was that?

A hand...familiar. One he'd been interrupted from taking before (or rather...vice versa?).

Egil shook himself; attempted to flex his wrist joint. It crackled with apparent disuse.
