keep on turning, keep on turning
What irritated Taion most wasn't the things Bart did. It was the sheer formulaic nature of the fact - not even the way - that he did them.
He was the epitome of rash, restless thinking, rushing in without thinking, firing off literal missiles without, it seemed, knowing why.
Of course, Taion knew Bart had a heart of gold he never kept quite preciously hidden (Taion himself had been on the opposite end, once, however harshly closed-off), and overthought-prone traumatic experiences buried deeper that explained all, making him just so golden.
All of it notwithstanding. He shouldn't have been so...irrepressibly irresistible.
