"Oh, snuff," murmurs Bolearis, right sleepy. "Your lips look so...soft, Mwamba."

Mwamba knows that gray-skinned guys like him (a good job Bolearis isn't from Agnus, because then it'd take more explaining, possibly with spiky bits poking out of the other guy's face, somewheres) are anything but soft - he's more like a tin can, and he's not shy about it.

(Well, maybe he's a little bit shy.)

So either Bolearis is lying, or he's just a really, really nice guy.

Considering everything he's done to make sure Mwamba's getting on in the City, he seems solid.
