Zelda cannot, of course, in any way deny that she harbors fear, apprehension, resentment of the twilight. She would be both unfairly removed from the natural tendencies of her people so as to render herself almost inhuman, and remiss in her royal duties to stand against the encroaching, opportunistic darkness.
But she cannot, either, deny the peace that she finds in the embrace of the Twili Princess. The grace of shadow, the inherent playfulness, the all-encompassing depth of passionate feeling...all these things, without question, dwell within Midna.
And then, they fade.
Now, she fears the morning, and the light.
