Do you fancy yourself a humorist?

I walk too fast, I talk too fast. I think too fast, I eat too fast.

I smile too fast and I frown even faster. The easily pleased are just begging to fall. And it just goes to show...

Those who blank will remember the answer. Those who blurt are less than a man, sir. More than gold is patience worth, when first you find it as a berth.

Without understanding why I am praised, I roll my eyes at an admirer's sway. You mustn't take it on the face, or your expression will rapidly be outpaced.

And here, among the jungle of bemusing half-wit quips, I must say that you, of all, most swiftly nip my speech. To tell me things I already know, and drive me to put on such a great show...

I've not said anything that's not been said before. After all, we are modeled on the things we adore.

The things you dislike reveal as much about you. The things you covet are only there to haunt you.

It's easy to hate; it's harder to love. It's hardest of all to truly rise above.

But pesky treats like this are trite, just waiting for the low-hanging fruit to bite.
