They could both be called mages, probably. They held out their hands and power flowed forth, glowing and effervescent and evanescent and incandescent and both constructive and destructive, alike.
But that wasn't only it, especially when concerned with each other. In true forms subtly defying the full extent of essentialist femininity in some ways and subtly embracing it in others, it was bewitching - and then again much more than just bewitching, perhaps important, perhaps all-encompassing - to remember:
I do not just produce this power. I call upon it. And that freedom's mine, to enjoy whenever I want.
