Day 09 - Heart

"Over here!"

Short and to the point. Sheik rarely speaks with any more volubility than Link himself. He appreciates that about them.

They're easy to fight with, and easy to communicate with, somehow. Not so much...romance.

They enter the keep together, sidling around the walls of the threshold opposite each other, and clear it with ease.

Sometimes chests don't respond if their entry is tried by the wrong person, but Sheik meets no resistance when they broach its boundaries.

Then, unexpectedly, they turn around, and offer their prize to Link. No bravado, no drama save that intrinsic.
