Day 23 - Green Carnations

When he sees the chartreuse flower pinned to Hyuga's tunic (a shanku, not blue), almost blending in with the rest of the characteristically green fabric, Sigurd almost instinctively brushes it out of his mind - just as the Young Master's new companions would do. Oh, never mind...it's nothing...

But it isn't nothing. Hyuga, who clings so tightly to the cover story of doddering old doctor with patient young wife (both of those ages loose assignments), should have no reason to wear such a thing. Not unless...

And Yui knows, surely. Yui knows that it isn't nothing. But it's fine, nevertheless.
