Mio (Xenoblade Chronicles 3) & Adel Orudou | Addam Origo's Wife

Mio (Xenoblade Chronicles 3), Adel Orudou | Addam Origo's Wife, Original Characters

Snippet, Ghosts, Reincarnation

Twinkling, a vagary star, the ghost catches Mio's golden eye.

There's a strange woman in the ceiling of Colony Gamma's Ferronis. Mio sees her out of the corner of her eye, like every other peripheral image, except that this one seems to blur, pink-toned, in its frozenness; Zephyrs glide by their surroundings, don't catch floaters in miasma.

Everything about her is clear, but never quite sharp or bold in its relief. That is to say, Mio doesn't know what she's looking at, what - who - she sees, but if she concentrates on one feature or another, based on the fact that it is, surely, a person, things start to come together.

Term marker: left thigh, near the knee - or is it right arm, near the shoulder? Hair: bangs, loose tresses and framing braids - or is it manageably untidy buns and ribbons?

Round ears, neither furry nor slim-sharp. Core Crystal...where?

She's just there, the same way the obelisk in Millick Meadows is just there. The obelisk isn't a person, though. Landmarks are just part of the landscape to someone who doesn't know them, but bodies are different.

Bodies that aren't husks are...different.

The woman's term marker is always either blood red or completely drained.

Mio hasn't had the heart to play for her, yet.

Maybe it would make her smile, though.
