Addam and Minoth sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G
"I'm not like you. I don't have parents."
The golden boy frowned. "Lora says it doesn't matter if you have parents. It just matters if you have people you love."
"Lora doesn't have parents either."
"I know," said the golden boy. "So she would know, wouldn't she?"
"Lora has Jin."
"Jin didn't have parents, did he?"
The sullen boy shook his head. No sir. Didn't, and still doesn't.
"So if Lora has Jin, then I can have you! I mean, if it has to be about having."
"You have parents."
Indeed, it had to be about having. Never mind that Lora having Jin also meant, reciprocally, that Jin had Lora.
"So I can't understand?"
"You can't."
"But my parents don't talk to me," the golden boy tried.
The sullen boy said nothing.
"I can't?"
The sullen boy still said nothing, but he might as well have said, "No. You can't."
