i felt you tie up your overgrown hair

when the sun sets over swordmarch i wonder
how i wonder, if your melody really is everywhere

i saw in you everything i saw in me
your eyes lit up the same ticking time

we fight for differences, we fight for assimilation
everyone likes poems better when they're short and they rhyme

on your face was peacefulness and the readiness to fade
on your wings and your soulburst was a sickly smokey gray

silly circle, childish wonder

yet this world is still so torn asunder
