A (Xenoblade Chronicles 3)/Z (Xenoblade Chronicles 3)

A (Xenoblade Chronicles 3), Z (Xenoblade Chronicles 3)

Triple Drabble, Prompt Fill

Can there be kinship, in the likeness of an avatar? Can there be any true meaning harvested from the realization (physical and mental, literal and figurative) of like against like, one mapped to one?

Those who defy the confines of the system innately divine meaning from every understanding-bearing symbol. Both A and Z are the system, in some sense. Both A and Z are intrinsically, inherently intertwined. It would be more apropos to ask whether we can avoid finding recognition and indeed foundation (realization, realization) of the self through the other, which is the self; recognition of the self through the self, which is also the other by virtue of being a fundamentally opposed aspect of the self.

All great for theoretics. All phenomenally phenomonal.

A stood within Aionios at the time of truce, with Z. Preservation of A's past, along with that and those of assembled allies, took precedence over the unshackling of their collective future. And A was not only quietly complicit in that decision.

This, it would stand to reason, pleased Z on a fundamental level. Atomic, if Z had those. Neuronic, if Z possessed any in singularity, to one's own name. To quarks and pions.

Each half of a whole, but in the way that an individual stood before a mirror regards the reflection beaming back as an equidistant, perfectly refracted prime-composite part of one whole self; neither piece is fractured.

Z's appearance, remarkably fractured. A's appearance, remarkably whole, if one-sided.

Until Aionios's end, the pair would be forever bound, awaiting the satisfactory shattering of the infinite mirror.

All of human fear (experience), collected. All of human experience (fear), dissolved and distilled.

Neither would ever need to raise wondering hands in quizzical confirmation that this side, indeed, did correspond to, and thus yearn for, its other.
